🚀 Major Release 2026

The 2026 major release of Cloud Operations and Security for Applications (COSA) is now available 🎉
This release significantly expands COSA’s networking, security, and observability capabilities, while continuing to improve performance and user experience across the platform.

✨ New Features

  • Secure DNS Server – integrated DNS server with advanced domain and URL filtering (malware, phishing, tracking, unwanted content), query logging, real-time statistics, and centralized management. The secure DNS is automatically applied to microservices and VPN traffic afor consistent protection.

  • VPN Mesh Network – private and encrypted VPN mesh connecting users, services, and environments. Containers and applications are directly accessible through the VPN without additional network configuration or exposed ports, with native service name resolution.

  • VPN Exit Node – ability to use the datacenter public IP as an exit node for secure and private browsing. Internet traffic is routed through the VPN and combined with the secure DNS for enhanced privacy and protection.

  • Centralized Log Manager – unified log management to collect, search, and analyze application, system, and security logs from a single interface.

  • Application Publishing Modes – define how applications are exposed directly from the Cockpit:

    • Direct access
    • Authenticated access
Simple configuration with precise control over application exposure.
  • Dashboard – enhanced dashboard providing a consolidated view of platform health, services, and key metrics in real time.

  • Custom SSL Certificates – generate and manage custom SSL certificates based on the desired domain name, with automatic renewal and direct association to applications and services.

  • Real-time Member Visibility – live visibility of connected members, improving monitoring and collaboration.

âš¡ Improvements

  • UI and UX optimizations
  • Performance improvements
  • Bug fixes
  • Overall platform stability enhancements

🧭 Coming Soon

  • Pre-deployed S3 Key Storage Integration – secure, ready-to-use storage for encryption keys and automated backups.
  • Preconfigured Backup Policies – automate data retention, recovery, and lifecycle management through predefined policies.
  • Service Scheduler – programmatically start, stop, and restart services to optimize resource usage and operational costs.
  • Firewall Flow & Port Management – define, monitor, and control network traffic rules and firewall flows directly.
  • API Control Layer – comprehensive API suite to pilot and automate the entire platform within CI/CD or orchestration pipelines.
  • Image Registry – build, publish, and manage Docker images securely within the integrated container registry.
